Welcome to 3rd Grade!

Dear Students, Parent(s), and Guardian(s),

Welcome to a new school year! I am very excited to be your teacher. My name is Mr. Aldrete, and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our class. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and attended college at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), where I studied Liberal Studies.  I have had the privilege of being a part of Montague Charter Academy since 2000 (That's 21 years!) Together with a team of amazing and creative teachers, I am committed to providing the MCA community with a quality 3rd grade school year for your child. 3rd grade is my favorite grade and I love my career!

My goal this year is to have a successful school year accomplishing the Common Core Standards. I know that this year is starting off differently than you’re used to but let me assure you that I will provide the best for your child.
