Distribution of Chrome-books MCA began distributing Chromebooks to our 3rd- 5th graders on March 17th and later 2nd graders on March 31st . It is important that students continue the i-Ready software, Reading Eggs, Benchmark and Google Classroom to continue their learning from home during the quarantine. Good instruction must continue ! Congressman Cardenas Visits Montague On Tuesday, January 21st The Honorable Tony Cardenas visited MCA. He toured 5th Grade classrooms, the Robotics Room, the Science Lab, Art Room and much more. Our 5th grade students created Valentine's Cards for the Valentine's for Veterans effort that Congressman Cardenas is promoting. In addition, Mr. Cardenas engaged in a Q & A session with our 5th graders. His high level of interest in our student's questions and curiosity is greatly appreciated.
Montague Bots Sweep Robotics Finals On Wednesday, January 22nd our MCA Bots Teams swept the top awards at the Cesar Chavez Robotics League Final. MCA placed two teams in the league and both teams earned a spot to move on to the state finals that will be held in March.
